Who It’s For
The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) qualification has been developed for all members of the public who wish to learn valuable life-saving skills and techniques for use in the event of a shooting, stabbing, bombing or other deliberate incident.
This qualification is particularly useful for those who work in high-risk environments where the risk of a deliberate multiple casualty attack should be considered, including airports, train and bus stations, schools/colleges, shopping centres, and large public events.
Overview
The course covers a variety of topics, including prioritising multiple casualties, dealing with an unresponsive casualty who is breathing, and controlling severe external bleeding. For a more detailed overview of the topics covered, please download the Qualification Specification.
Learners who undertake the Qualsafe Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) must have access to either the citizenAID Phone App or Pocket Guide. The citizenAID Pocket Guide can be purchased here. The citizenAID Phone App can be downloaded here.
Assessment Methods
• 7 x assessments, including a mixture of knowledge and practical based activities/assessments
Certification
Successful learners will receive a Qualsafe Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) e-Certificate personalised with their Centre’s details.
